SIGNUP version 2.1

Easy to integrate Dynamic User Application form
The main User interface is the Dynamic User Application Form. This form is places on any Web Page you like by inserting a php include command (copy and paste) and updating the link inside, after that the complete form will present itself. The only request is that the page it will be places on has the ending .php and not .html. This is done by simply renaming the page, nothing else is needed.

The User Application process covers a maximum of 5 steps and is dynamic depending of the settings in the Admin area. The code of all the steps are on one file, which makes the need for any popup pages unnecessary. The only requirement is for a minimum of 450 pixel free width and flexible height.

Easy installation with automatic installer
You can choose between manual or automatic installation. The automatic installation only requires that you upload all files to your Web Server, make a few adjustments depending on your www address etc (you find all the information about these adjustments in the installation manual). Then use the install file where you enter your database address etc and then you are up and running.

If you choose to install the Software manually there is a 10 page installation manual that will go through the process in detail, including the activation of the PayPal payment function.

Easy to manage with a comprehensive admin function
The Admin function/area is very comprehensive and includes a wide range of options and alternative, both for the User interface, email messages systems and the Admin area itself. Below you can read about some of the more important ones:

  • The Start Page in the Admin area gives critical statistic information about Events and Users.
  • Easy creation of Event with one column for standard options (recommended to fill in) and one column for advanced options (not necessary to fill in). The minimum requirement for creating an Event is 2 standard options to fill in, the maximum is 48 (standard and advanced) options to fill in.
  • Automatic removal of Events from the User form when the date for the Event has passed, the Event can however be reactivated again if necessary in the Admin area.
  • All Events can be edited in full after creation
  • Most of the User information given at the application process and be edited in the Admin area.
  • Listing of Event and User with a lot of sort options.
  • Pagination setting from 1 to unlimited entries per page
  • Comprehensive email system for messages of actions to the Admin and the Leader of the Event, all are optional and can be set individual per Event. Example, email when application is done, email when the minimum number for the Event has been reached, email when the Event is full, copy of confirmation email to the User etc.
  • User cancellation of application, optional and can be set in the Admin area.
  • Using a Captcha function for avoiding robots etc.
  • Blacklist for IP addresses
  • Blacklist for email addresses (including domain blocking)
  • Changing of username and password for admin and leaders.
  • Uploading pdf file for each individual Event
  • PayPal payment function as an option
  • PayPal payment follow up system. All PayPal payment will be sorted in a special page as unverified and can there be checked against PayPal mail information and changed status to verified if OK. This makes it very easy to have full control of the user PayPal payments.
  • Email reminder function to the User before the Event starts as an option
  • Expandable User application form from minimum of 4 fields for the User to fill in to a maximum of 9 fields to fill in. The last 5 can all be labeled in the Admin area and all fileds can be set to be required or not.
  • Leader admin section where a leader for a Event can view his/hers Events and Users only, password set by Admin. Same security level with AES 128 as for Admin.

Easy language setup with languages files
The Software is based on languages files, default is US English. All languages files is placed in the language directory and the choice of language is done by changing the prefix (en_us = US English) in the config file.

If you would like to add a language of your own you only have to copy one of the language files and change the words to your language, save it under your prefix in the language directory and then change the prefix in the config file. Now the Software will be in your chosen language incl. date and time settings.

The Software package includes US English, UK English and Swedish as standard.

On-line user manual (equal to approx. 21 pages)
To fully support you a detailed user manual of the equivalent of 21 pages is included in the Admin area. It will cover all parts of the Software, from the User Application process to the setting of advanced options in the creation of Events.

No css or other format setting in the User Application form
The Dynamic User Application form has no css formatting, no templates, no cookies or no sessions. This makes the integration of the Form into your own Web Page very easy and problem free.

Easy to remove/change Logo on Admin login page
The Software has no Logo or copyright signs in the User Form and only a Logo in the Admin area. The Logo in the Admin area is easy to change/remove.

Full support via the Forum
All new features, upgrades, errors, bugs and comments i.e. is written into the Forum. Look there for support on your question.

Flexible security system based on the very high level AES 128 or the standard level md5.
Signup has a encryption system bases on AES 128 / Rijndael 128 or md5 for the Admin area. AES 128 is, at the time of this writing, the most advanced encryption system available on the Internet and is basically impossible to break. You make the choice between AES 128 or md5 at the time of installation but can also be changed afterwards in the config.php file.

The Software also includes .htaccess and .htpasswd files for easy protection of all other directories than the admin directory. This will give you the highest possible security against any attacks etc. How to use/install these files is described in the Installation manual in detail.
